Is there going to be another burden on your pocket and inflation from December 2? Can telecom companies make their recharges expensive once again from December 2? For a long time, there have been reports of telecom companies’ plans becoming expensive. Many reports have claimed that telecom companies can increase the prices of their plans from December 2. At present no company has announced this. However, Vodafone-Idea (Vi) has secretly made its 84-day plan costlier.
Vodafone-Idea has increased the price of its Rs 509 plan with 84 days validity. According to the report, this prepaid plan of Vi will now be available for Rs 548. The price of the plan has been increased by Rs 39. However, along with making the plan expensive, the company has also revised the data available. Now users will get more data in this plan than before.
In this plan of Vi, users are offered unlimited calling all over India. Also, users are given the benefit of 1,000 free SMS. Talking about data, different data benefits are available in this plan in different telecom circles. Earlier, users were offered data ranging from 6GB to 9GB, which has now been increased from 7GB to 10GB.
Let us tell you that apart from Vodafone-Idea, Airtel is also in favor of making its prepaid plans expensive. In recent times, the company has once again indicated an increase in ARPU i.e. Average Revenue Per User. In July last year, private telecom companies had increased the price of their recharge plans by up to 24%.
Prepaid and postpaid mobile tariff rates of telecom companies had increased. However, government telecom company BSNL is in no mood to increase its plans. The chairman of the company has recently said that the focus of BSNL at this time is to add more and more users. Because of this the company is not in favor of increasing the tariff.
