If you also have the same problem, then today we have brought a very special trick for you to make Moong Dal Halwa Recipe very juicy and tasty. So let us know how to make tasteful moong dal halwa?

Ingredients for Moong Dal Halwa:

1 cup yellow moong dal, 4 cups water, 1 cup sugar, 5 to 6 cardamoms, half cup desi ghee, finely chopped cashews, almonds and pistachios.

How to make Moong Dal Halwa?

  • First step: To make Moong Dal Halwa, first wash the yellow Moong Dal and soak it for 4 to 5 hours. After the stipulated time, filter the lentils and grind them coarsely with the help of a mixer jar and keep them in a vessel.

  • second step: Now place the pan and add half cup of desi ghee in it. When the ghee becomes hot, add ground moong dal to it and keep stirring it continuously with a ladle until it becomes light golden.

  • Third step: It may take 20 to 25 minutes for the lentils to turn golden, by then prepare the syrup. Pour 4 cups of water in a vessel. Now grind 5 to 6 cardamoms and add them to this water. When the syrup comes to a boil, take it off the gas.

  • Fourth step: When the lentils are roasted well, add sugar syrup to it. You also add half liter milk in it. Now keep stirring it well until cooked. The more Moong Halwa is cooked, the better it tastes. When the syrup dries in the halwa, turn off the gas. Your moong dal halwa is ready.
