Chhath fast is considered the most difficult. In this, fasting women fast for 36 hours. Purity is taken care of several days in advance. Its sanctity begins with Nahay Khay and Kharna. Eating dry fruits will give you strength- After breaking the fast, you can eat some light fruits and dry fruits. This will provide energy to the body. Eating fruits and dry fruits provides vitamins, minerals and proteins which will provide instant energy to your body. Therefore, eat them in small quantities after breaking the fast.

Fiber is important-After breaking the Chhath fast, you should eat things like sweet potato, potato or pumpkin and bottle gourd. Staying hungry for a long time affects digestion. But these things are easy to digest. After such a long fasting, you should include fiber-rich and easily digestible foods in your diet. You can also eat some pulses and rice.

Do not eat these things after breaking Chhath fast

After fasting on Chhath, you should avoid eating puri-dishes immediately. Eating too much fried food can cause problems like gas and acidity. Eating too much oily and spicy food can cause harm. Eating spicy food can affect the digestive system. After the fast of Chhath, one should not eat non-veg i.e. non-vegetarian food. The body is not able to digest this type of food immediately. Apart from this, you should also avoid drinking too much tea or coffee. This can cause acid formation in the body.
