Let me tell you that this chutney recipe is very popular in South and people eat it with great fervor. This chutney made of potato and tamarind is called ‘digested puli urlai pachhadi “. Pacha puli means raw tamarind and urlai means potato while Pachari is a kind of chutney or rasam. This delicious chutney of India is a raw tamarind, potatoes, onions, coriander, green chillies and other spices, so let’s know how to make the recipe?

Material for Pacha Puli Urlai Pachadi:

2 boiled potatoes, one onion, coriander leaf garnishing, green chillies – 3, half cup tamarind water, salt as per taste, chili powder – half a teaspoon, roasted cumin powder – 1 teaspoon, jaggery – 1 spoon – 1 spoon – 1 spoon, one teaspoon mustard oil

How to make digested puli urlai pachari?

First step: First wash two potatoes and boil it well. When the potatoes boil, peel it well. After peeling, mash the potatoes well. Soak tamarind in hot water for 10-15 minutes. When tamarind becomes soft, then mash it well with hand and remove the pulp. Sieve from a sieve and remove the water and separate the pulp.

Second step: Now add an onion in the mashed potato and mix them well. Now add half a cup of tamarind water to this mixture and mix once again well.

Third step: Now, add half a teaspoon chili powder, roasted cumin powder 1 tsp, 1 teaspoon jaggery powder and salt according to taste and mix once again.

Fourth step: In the last step, add one teaspoon mustard oil and mix again. Your digestion is ready to be made. Finally garnish with green coriander.
