Apple has made complete preparations to compete with Google Gemini AI. The American tech company is working on a new version of its iPhone’s dedicated voice assisted Siri. It will be made like a chatgpt, so that users can use AI features in their expensive iPhone. Apple does not have any AI tools of its own. The company offers AI features based on Openai’s chatgpt to its iPhone users, which is less than Google Gemini.
Will it be presented next year?
According to a recent report, SIRI can be equipped with this new AI features in the iPhone 18 series to be launched next year, which will be able to make real world interactions. Bloomberg’s report states that Apple has given Veritas codename to this AI tool, which means truth in Latin. However, the report also states that this tool will currently be launched for internal use.
Apple’s AI Division is currently focusing on making Siri even more advanced. According to the report, this AI chatbot of Apple will work like current generative AI tools such as Google Gemini, ChatjiPT, Perplexity AI etc. This tool will be able to manage multiple chats, queries follow-ups etc. Apple Engineers are currently sharing its feedback loops during testing, so that the Prompt’s strategy can be worked.
According to the report, this upgraded version of Siri is being tested through the Linwood codename system. In this, Apple can use its own large language model. The company will not use the large language model of Chatgpt or any other third party tool. The report states that Apple may present it next year. It will be introduced at the WWDC to be held in May next year. However, the final roll out will be done later. Apple launched Next Generation Siri while introducing iOS18 last year. The upcoming version will also be advanced.
