Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra have been launched a few months earlier than expected. Recent certifications indicate that the M8 series may launch in several markets soon. Poco has reportedly decided not to launch some flagship models next year, according to a new report from XiaomiTime.
This report, based on the MI code, claims that these devices will be rebranded as Poco models.
- Poco M8 5G: Rebranded version of Redmi Note 15 5G
- Poco M8 Pro 5G: Rebranded version of Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G
- Poco X8 Pro: Rebranded version of Redmi Turbo 5
- Poco
The name of standard Poco X8 is not in this given list. This device is not even found in the GSMA IMEI database yet. The device, which was believed to be a rebranded version of Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, has reportedly been cancelled.
Earlier, Poco used to offer three models in its X-series, including the entry-level Neo-branded model. In the year 2026, the X8 series will be limited to two models, namely Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max. The report also claims that there will be a special Iron Man edition of the X8 Pro.
It is possible that Poco F8 may not be launched – according to reports
Redmi K90 Pro Max and Redmi K90, which were launched in China, have been rebranded as Poco F8 Ultra and F8 Pro respectively for the global market. The report claims that the Poco F8 will not be brought, although there is no concrete evidence to support this claim.
It will be interesting to see how these claims hold up in reality. Especially because the F8 was supposed to be the only F8-series phone to launch in India, one of Poco’s key markets.
