OPPO Find Oppo launched its flagship Find X series in the Indian market last year after a long wait. After the Find X8 series, the company launched its upgrade in India last month. This phone is equipped with a better camera and powerful processor. The company has made changes in the look and design of the phone. Both the phones of this series look similar to OnePlus 15. There are two phones in this series – OPPO Find X9 and OPPO Find X9 Pro. We have used Find X9, the base model of this series, for a few days and have brought its review for you.

Oppo Find X9 comes in two storage variants – 12GB RAM + 256GB and 16GB RAM + 512GB. It can be purchased in three color options – Titanium Grey, Space Black and Velvet Red. Design of OPPO Find X9

Talking about the design of this flagship smartphone of Oppo, despite having a large display, the company has tried to keep the phone compact. There is a design with rounded corners all around the phone. At the same time, its side panel has a metallic design, due to which you will feel premium when you hold the phone in your hand. This phone of Oppo looks a lot like OnePlus 15 from the front and side. The camera design given in the back panel of the phone also looks similar to OnePlus 15.

There is an alert slider button on the left side of the Find X9, through which you can put the phone in silent, ring or vibrate mode. Volume rockers are provided on the right side. Apart from microphones and sensors, IR blaster is also provided at the top. At the bottom, USB Type C charging port, speaker grill and SIM card slot are provided. Only one physical Nano SIM can be installed in it. At the same time, the phone also supports e-SIM. In this way you can use two SIM cards in it. The phone weighs 203 grams and is 8.0mm thick.

Talking about the overall design of this phone, it looks quite attractive. The metallic finish of the phone makes it an Android smartphone that rivals the iPhone. This flagship smartphone has a 6.59 inch FHD+ (Full HD Plus) display. LTPO AMOLED screen has been used in this phone. The resolution of its display is 2760 x 1256 pixels. Very thin bezels have been provided around the display of the phone. Because of this, you will get edge-to-edge viewing experience in the content viewed on the display. The peak brightness of the phone’s display is up to 1,800 nits. You can easily see the phone’s display even in direct sunlight. We have got a good experience while watching movies and web series on this phone. At the same time, the quality of the phone’s display has been good even during gaming. Performance of OPPO Find X9

This phone works on MediaTek Dimensity 9500 3nm octacore processor. This is the most powerful processor launched by MediaTek so far. In benchmarking it is equivalent to Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Due to the powerful processor and 16GB RAM, you will not face any problem during multi-tasking in this phone of Oppo. This phone has a super powerful cooling system, which does not allow the phone to heat up. We have played many racing and FPS games with multiplayer mode and high graphics on this phone and we did not find any complaints during the game-play. However, after playing games for more than 30 to 45 minutes in advanced mode, the back panel of the phone starts getting slightly warm, which is natural.

Like the design and display, the performance of this flagship phone of Oppo will not disappoint you. This phone of Oppo is equipped with AI feature and works on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. It has artificial intelligence features like AI Clarity Enhancer, AI Reflection Remover, AI Unblur, AI Eraser, AI Writer, AI Reply, AI Summary. The phone supports Google Gemini AI.

Oppo has used silicon-carbon battery in its flagship smartphone, which is lighter than lithium ion battery. This phone has a 7,025mAh battery, with which 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging feature is available. This phone also supports 50W wireless fast charging feature. It takes 40 to 45 minutes for this phone to be fully charged. By fully charging this phone once, you can use it comfortably throughout the day. Apart from this, support for quick charging has been provided in the phone. You can easily use it for 5 to 6 hours by charging it for 10 minutes.

Quad camera setup is available in the back of OPPO Find X9. It has a 50MP main ultra camera, whose aperture is f/2.0. At the same time, the phone has only 50MP wide angle and 50MP telephoto camera. Apart from this, a 2MP monochromatic camera is available in the phone. This phone of Oppo has a 32MP camera for selfie and video calling. This phone has a pro grade rear camera, which supports features like time lapse, slow motion video, dual view video, 4K recording.

At the same time, you will get all these features in its front camera also. Not only this, this phone of Oppo is equipped with AI feature, due to which you can further enhance the photo taken with the phone. Its back camera supports 120x super zoom feature. With this flagship phone of Oppo, you can click decent pictures in daylight. You get to see detailing and color accuracy in the pictures taken in daylight with the camera of this phone. In a picture taken in portrait mode, you will get the option to blur the background as per your choice.

You can click good pictures even in low light with the phone’s camera. Pro Night Mode is available in it, which enhances the picture taken in low light. It also has an LED flash light to make the picture clear in the dark. Talking about the selfie camera of Find X9 5G, you can click good pictures from its front camera also. You will get a decent picture especially for uploading on social media. Its front camera works well even in video calling. This phone of Oppo comes with a good camera as per its budget.

From design to performance, you will get advanced features in this flagship phone of Oppo. The company has made changes in the design of the phone compared to the previous model. The performance of the phone is also quite good and you can do multi-tasking easily on it. This phone comes with a large carbon fiber battery, which is lighter and more powerful than traditional lithium ion. The camera quality and AI features of the phone will impress you. You can use this phone for video recording.

What we did not like about this phone is that compared to Find X8, there is not much upgrade in it. Except for the battery, processor and design, everything looks like the Find X8. In such a situation, if you want to buy it by spending more then it will be your call.
