Flour Barfi Recipe
The cold has started. As soon as winter arrives, sesame, jaggery, peanuts and dry fruits should be included in the diet. This keeps the body warm and also provides strength. In winter, grandmothers make different types of laddus and feed them to the family. In winter, flour laddus, gum laddus, fenugreek laddus and flaxseed laddus are made at home. If you don’t have time to make laddu, you can also make barfi. By eating this barfi daily in winter, the body will be protected from diseases. Flour Barfi Recipe
First step- First of all, add 2 tablespoons of desi ghee in the pan and now fry the gum well in it. Will use 1 bowl of glue. If the gum is thick then do not fry it at once, fry it little by little. Fry the gum only on medium flame so that it sinks deep inside. Gum swells and becomes thick when fried.
Second step- Now you have to take 2 small cups of wheat flour and fry it in the remaining ghee in the pan with gum. If ghee seems less then you can add a little more. Now fry the flour well on low flame until it turns brown and smells.
Third step- Now take 1 handful of almonds, 1 handful of cashews and grind them in a mixer. Now that the flour has been roasted, add 1 bowl of mawa to it. If there is no mawa then you can also use milk powder or use cream instead. Mix mawa well in flour.
fourth Step-Now take 1 bowl of dry coconut powder or grated coconut in a pan and add 1 spoon of ghee and fry it lightly. Mix coconut in flour mixture. Mix dry fruits powder and roasted gum by lightly crushing them. Now take 2 bowls of jaggery and add 2 spoons of water and cook it in a pan till it melts. After the jaggery comes to a boil, add it to the flour mixture.
fifth Step-For flavor, grind cardamom powder, dry ginger powder and half a nutmeg. Now mix everything well. You can make laddus from this mixture or set it and give it the shape of barfi. You set it and leave it for half an hour. Very healthy and tasty barfi will be ready. You should also try this recipe in winter.
