Ray-Ban Meta Glasses: Ray-Ban Meta Glasses are now available for purchase in India across major e-commerce platforms. Developed in collaboration with EssilorLuxottica, the smart glasses were launched in the country in May but could only be purchased through Ray-Ban.com and leading optical and sunglasses stores across India. Ray-Ban Meta glasses are equipped with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, open-ear speaker and microphone that allow users to take photos/videos, listen to music and have conversations on the go.

Ray-Ban Meta Glasses price in India starts at Rs 29,900 in Shiny Black color by Skyler and Wayfarer Design. However, these smart glasses will be available at an effective price of Rs 23,920 with 20 percent discount and bank offers. Customers can choose from several different categories of frames and prescription, sunscreen, polarized and transition lenses. Ray-Ban Meta Glasses can be purchased through Amazon, Flipkart and Reliance Digital, as the company is planning to make them available to more and more people in India.
Features and Specifications of Ray-Ban Meta Glasses
The Ray-Ban Meta Glasses feature a 12-megapixel camera and an LED light housed inside two circular cutouts on either side of the frame. The LED light also acts as a recording indicator when video recording is live. According to the company, the smart glasses can capture photos at a resolution of up to 3024 x 4032 pixels and record 1080p video for up to 60 seconds. Meta says that videos recorded from the device can be shared on Meta apps like Facebook and Instagram. Users can also share them on other platforms using the Meta View app.
Ray-Ban Meta glasses use Meta AI assistant
According to the company, Ray-Ban Meta glasses use its proprietary Meta AI assistant. Users can say the ‘Hey Meta AI’ voice prompt to toggle several different hands-free actions. These smart glasses also offer real-time speech translation capabilities by saying ‘Hey Meta, start live translation’ in English and Spanish, French or Italian. The translated audio plays through open-ear speakers and there is an option to take a transcription.
Ray-Ban Meta Glasses equipped with 32GB onboard storage
The Ray-Ban Meta glasses are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 platform SoC and come with 32GB of onboard storage. These smart glasses offer up to four hours of battery life on a single charge and up to 32 hours of battery life with the charging case. These come with IPX4 splash resistance.
