“We always carry our phones and chargers with us, but counterfeit products can be dangerous. The CRS mark is not just a mark on your device or charger, it is a safety mark. Make sure to look for it when purchasing and stay safe!” Along with this, the picture shared is written that “Substandard charger, huge loss! Charger without CRS mark can be a threat to both your phone and your safety. Use only charger with CRS mark. Be safe, be alert.”
Danger even of fire!
In fact, the most frightening disadvantage of a substandard charger is that if it becomes excessively hot, it can affect the phone as well and in extreme conditions, the charger and the phone can even catch fire. This is a matter of concern for you and your family.
What are substandard chargers?
The substandard charger category includes those chargers which are fake or which may have the same branding as your phone but are fake. These chargers are without CRS mark, that is, you will not find CRS mark anywhere on their print. Their quality is light and not as heavy as VOOC chargers or power/turbo chargers. The data cable that comes with them is also short or its quality is light.
What are the disadvantages of substandard charger?
Due to such substandard charger, your phone’s battery gets damaged, it charges slowly and even once fully charged, the phone’s battery drains quickly. Such substandard chargers are responsible for the quick deterioration of the battery. These substandard chargers can also affect the processing of the phone and slow down its speed. Sometimes they can even damage the motherboard of the phone.
