Palak Kofta
People eat a lot of spinach vegetable during winter season. But eating the same vegetables often leads to boredom. In such a situation, if you want, you can make spinach koftas for dinner. However, there is a lot of oil used in Palak Kofta. For this reason people do not make it quickly. But today we have brought for you such a recipe of Palak Kofta which does not require you to use too much oil to make it. Let us know how to make it?
Ingredients for Palak Kofta:
300 grams spinach, 1 tablespoon salt, ginger garlic, half teaspoon celery, half teaspoon turmeric powder, half teaspoon red chili powder, half teaspoon garam masala, half teaspoon coriander powder, 3 – 4 tablespoons gram flour
Ingredients for Spinach Gravy
2 tsp mustard oil, 1 tsp cumin, 5 black peppercorns, 2 small cardamoms, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 tbsp coriander powder, water as required, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 6 garlic cloves, 2 onions, 2 green chillies, 2 tomatoes, 2 – 3 tbsp curd, half tsp garam masala, 1 tsp Kasuri methi.
How to make Palak Kofta?

first stepTo make Palak Kofta, wash the spinach and cut the thick stalk. Chop the spinach very finely. After cutting spinach, add one spoon salt in it and keep it like this for 10 minutes. Spinach will release water because of salt. Squeeze the water well from the spinach and keep it in another vessel. Keep in mind that spinach water should not be thrown away.

Second step: Now, take two onions, a piece of ginger and five garlic cloves, one green chilli and crush it well. Keep in mind that they have to be crushed and not made into a fine paste. Now, take tomato and make a fine paste of it and keep it in a vessel.

Third step: Now add one or two spoons of onion mixture, half teaspoon celery, half teaspoon turmeric powder, half teaspoon red chili powder, half teaspoon garam masala, half teaspoon coriander powder and 3 – 4 tablespoons gram flour and mix well. When it is mixed, make round shaped koftas and keep them in a vessel.

fourth step: Now turn on the gas, keep a pan and add mustard oil. When the oil becomes hot, add 1 teaspoon cumin, 5 black peppers, 2 small cardamoms and when they become light golden, add chopped onion. When the onion turns red, add tomato paste to it and cook well. When they are cooked, add the remaining spinach water and dilute it a little.

Fifth step: Now place a steel strainer on the pan, grease it with oil, place the spinach koftas on it and cover it. After 10 minutes, remove the lid and remove the koftas and then add them to the gravy. Finally garnish the vegetable with Kasuri Methi. Your flavourful spinach koftas are ready.
