Make guava chutney quickly in winter
Guavas are sold in abundance in the market during the winter season. This is a fruit which is not only rich in taste but also a treasure trove of health. It contains abundant amounts of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants which protect the body from many diseases. In such a situation, people can include it in their diet in different ways. But do you know that guava chutney can make even your tasteless food tasty in winters. Eating guava chutney with paratha in winter will not only enhance the taste of the food but will also be beneficial for health. In such a situation, here we have brought the recipe of sweet and sour guava chutney for you.

Guava: 2 medium sized
Green Coriander: 1 cup (finely chopped)
Green chillies: 2-3 (as per taste)
Ginger: 1 inch piece
Lemon juice: 1 tbsp
Roasted cumin powder: ½ tsp
Black Salt: ½ tsp
Plain salt: as per taste
Sugar or jaggery: 1 tsp
Method of preparation
step 1 – Wash and clean the guava thoroughly. Cut off its top and bottom parts and remove them. Now cut the guava into small pieces. If the guava seeds are very hard, you can remove the central seed part. If the seeds are soft, leave them on.
Step 2 – Add chopped guava, coriander, green chilli and ginger in a mixer jar. Now add black salt, plain salt, roasted cumin powder and sugar/jaggery. Add some water (2-3 teaspoons) and grind it coarsely or into a paste.
Step 3 – Take out the chutney in a bowl and add lemon juice on top and mix well.
