Winters have started and many people have started taking bath in the hot water of geysers. Actually, the pleasure of bathing with hot water of geyser is different and once one gets addicted to hot water, it does not go away easily. Nowadays geysers come with all kinds of safety ratings and also meet the safety standards, but still if you keep some special things in mind then it will be good for you and your family.

Keep these safety tips in mind for geysers

Avoid buying local or cheap geysers and always buy a geyser from a certified company with good quality and proper safety standards.

Install the geyser at a place where there is no splash of water and there is good air circulation i.e. good ventilation.

If it is a gas geyser then you must arrange for good ventilation for it.

You should always take care to choose the right place for this and also install it at the right height in the bathroom.

Always get the geyser installed by a professional technician and do not try to install it yourself, otherwise things may get worse.

Set the temperature of the geyser between 45-50 degrees Celsius because running it at a temperature higher than this leads to wastage of electricity and also a risk of burning, so you should take care that the temperature is not too high.

The geyser should be serviced at least once a year so that the possibility of problems like rusting and leaking can be controlled.

Do not forget to switch off the geyser as soon as the need is over because keeping it on for a long time can cause overheating and increases the risk of the geyser bursting.

Get a geyser with the feature of automatically shutting off the water when it gets hot, i.e. while buying a new geyser, get a geyser with auto cut feature.
