This delicious pickle of green chilli and garlic

Pickles enhance the taste of any food. People make pickles at home according to every season. But green chilli and garlic pickle is eaten a lot in winter. This pickle is so delicious in taste that your mouth starts watering as soon as you hear its name. The amazing thing is that as delicious as it is to eat, it is also very easy to make. You can prepare it easily in less than 20 minutes and eat it with roti paratha. In such a situation, let us know the easy recipe of making green chilli and garlic pickle.

Material

Green chilli: 100 grams

Garlic: 50 grams

Mustard Oil: ½ cup

Mustard/Yellow Mustard: 2 tsp

Fennel: 1 teaspoon

Whole coriander: 1 teaspoon

Cumin: ½ tsp

Celery: ½ teaspoon

Fenugreek seeds: ½ teaspoon

Turmeric Powder: ½ tsp

Red chilli powder: 1 teaspoon

Salt: as per taste (about 2 teaspoons)

Kalonji (Mangrel): ½ teaspoon

Asafoetida: a pinch

Vinegar: 2 teaspoons

Method of preparation

prepare masala

In a pan, add mustard, fennel, whole coriander, cumin, celery and fenugreek seeds and fry on low flame until a good aroma starts coming from it. Cool it and grind it coarsely in a mixer.

heat oil

Heat the mustard oil on high flame till smoke comes out from it. Then turn off the gas and let the oil cool slightly.

mix pickles

Take chopped green chillies and garlic in a big vessel. Add coarsely ground spices, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, nigella seeds and asafoetida and mix well.

add seasoning

When the oil becomes lukewarm, add the spices and chilli-garlic mixture and mix well immediately.

add vinegar

If you want to keep the pickle for a long time, you can also add vinegar to it.

store

Your instant green chilli garlic pickle is ready! Store it in a dry and airtight glass jar. This pickle is ready to eat immediately and will not spoil for 15-20 days when kept in the refrigerator.
