What are the main features of Bajrang Setu bridge:

Glass Pool: This glass bridge is built on the river Ganga and will replace the 100 year old ‘Laxman Jhula’. This is the first glass bridge of Uttarakhand. The bridge provides glass walkways for pedestrians and separate walkways for two-wheelers.

How much does it cost: It is being constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 68 crore. It will be 132 meters long and 8 meters wide which will provide a safe, attractive and convenient route for devotees and tourists.

figures and divine images: Huge figures and divine statues will be built at both ends of the bridge. The figure of Kedarnath has been carved on one pillar and the figure of Badrinath has been carved on the other. This bridge is inspired by the architecture of Kedarnath temple, which will further strengthen the cultural and spiritual identity of Rishikesh.

Selfie points on footpath: Selfie points built on walkways will add a new dimension to modern Patton facilities. The view of river Ganga from the 132 meter long pool will be worth seeing.
