Panjiri Recipe
It is advisable to eat dry fruits to stay healthy in winter. In this season, things that keep the body warm from inside must be included in the diet. Panjiri is a great option for this. Often you must have seen that pregnant women are given Panjiri to eat after having a child. This provides nutrition to the body and keeps the body warm. To protect yourself from cold, you can also make Panjiri and store it. The special thing is that Panjiri can be made even with less ghee. Whereas if we prepare laddus from this Panjiri and eat it, we will have to add a lot of ghee in it. Panjiri is a healthy option. It is made by adding all the dry fruits, dry ginger, seeds, black pepper, makhana, flour, desi ghee, jaggery, sugar and gum. Quickly note down the recipe of Panjiri which is eaten in winter.
Panjiri Recipe
First step- To make Panjiri, first fry about 1 kg flour in a pan. While roasting the flour, keep the gas flame low so that the flour gets roasted well. If you mix ghee in flour and fry it, the aroma will be better and the taste of the flour will also increase. You add about 300 grams of ghee in 1 kg of flour. Now fry the flour until it turns brown and smells.
Second step- Remove the flour from the pan and now add 4-5 spoons of desi ghee in it and add gum to it and fry. Fry the gum by pressing it on medium flame so that it gets roasted from inside. Now add cashews, almonds and walnuts in the same pan and fry them. If the ghee is over then add 1 spoon of ghee and roast all the seeds like pumpkin seeds, melon seeds, chironji. Fry the raisins till they swell and take them out in a plate. In this also lightly fry poppy seeds and white sesame seeds.
Third step- Fry 1 big bowl of makhana in a pan. Now grind the makhana, cashew nuts, almonds and walnuts coarsely. Keep all the dry fruits at one place and keep mixing. Mix flour and all dry fruits. Now mix jaggery, sugar or sugar candy or sugar candy powder as per your requirement in the flour. To enhance the taste, grate 1 nutmeg. Add dry ginger powder and black pepper powder to it and mix it. If ghee is too little then you can add a little more.
Healthy flour Panjiri to be eaten in winter is ready. You can eat 2-4 spoons of it daily with milk or in breakfast. This will give strength to the body and you will be able to keep yourself more healthy and fit in winter.
