New Year 2026 is coming, have you thought of taking a resolution to become slim this year also? If yes then you will have to prepare for it in advance. Otherwise, like every year, this year too your resolution will fail. Include some healthy things in your diet before the New Year. We’re not asking you to change much. Include just 5 things in your lifestyle, which can easily control your weight. These habits will not only reduce weight, but your health will also improve. You will feel more active and smart.

Adopt these habits to lose weight on New Year

Dry fruits- Eat some soaked dry fruits daily for breakfast. Which can include almonds, walnuts, raisins, cashews, pistachios, figs and dates. You can also include seeds in it. Along with this, include roasted makhanas in your diet to keep your stomach full. All these things will give you nutrition, vitamins, minerals, fiber, healthy fats and will help in weight loss.

Fruit- Make a habit of eating 1-2 fruits daily. Fruits must be included in breakfast. You can eat any seasonal fruit. If you are acidic in nature then you should not eat sour fruits in the morning. Eating a mixture of fruits and dry fruits will fill your stomach as much as breakfast. Banana, apple, papaya, berries, orange, kiwi and other fruits can be eaten.

Salad- Currently, vegetables are available in abundance in winter. You should include vegetables as much as possible in salad. Include beetroot, carrot, spinach, broccoli, cabbage, kale, cucumber, tomato and other vegetables in the diet in the form of salad. If you do not want to eat raw salad, then steam it lightly and eat it. This will fill the stomach easily and weight will also reduce.

Soup and curd- If you cannot eat curd in winter, then drink soup instead. Drinking soup before eating fills the stomach and keeps you from overeating. You can make soup by mixing all the vegetables and boiling them. Be sure to include soup in your diet in winter. It works wonders in weight loss. In summer, drink curd, buttermilk and lassi instead of soup. This will reduce your hunger and your body will get more nutrition. Losing weight will also become easier.

coarse grain- You must eat coarse grains once a day. Instead of wheat bread, eat millet, ragi, jowar or maize bread. These rotis provide complete nutrition to the body and help in weight loss. Coarse grains are considered very beneficial for the body. If you want, you can use them by mixing them also. Be sure to include oatmeal and quinoa in your diet. This will help in weight loss. Also, complete 10,000 steps daily and do any intense workout for 30 minutes.
