YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia has publicly apologized on the X on Monday, February 10, for his recently made objectionable statements in a show being broadcast. This stand-up comedy event came after a complaint against Ranveer Allahabadia for a pornographic remarks made during the comedy event “India’s Got Latant”.
Complaint with Women’s Commission
The complaint was submitted to the Maharashtra Women’s Commission and the Mumbai Commissioner, demanding strict action against Allahabadia to use the derogatory language in the show. In the case, the comedian time is the name of Raina, Social Media Personality Apoorva Makhija and the show’s makers. In the complaint, he has been accused of unfair material. Officers have been urged to take action against all the people concerned.
Apologies on social media
In his mafiname, Alladia said that he will never deliberately humiliate families and comedy is not their profession. He accepted full responsibility, accepted his mistake in the decision and later pledged to use his position with more awareness. After asking the filmmakers to remove objectionable material, Allahbiya concluded, “I am sorry, and I hope you will forgive me.”
He claimed that people of all ages watch podcasts. He further said, “I don’t want to be a person who disregards that duty, I have learned from full experience that I need to use this platform. I swear to improve the bus.”
Chief Minister also advised
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reacted to the dispute. He said that he is aware of the case, but he has not seen the clip yet. He said that freedom of expression is important, but it should not come at the cost of the rights of others. He said that the rules should be followed and violations should be addressed.
