If you are using a normal Android or iPhone, then fasten your seat belt. Soon, Robot Phone with robotic camera is going to be launched in the market. Chinese company Honor has released the teaser video of its robotic phone, in which a glimpse of the robotic AI camera can be seen apart from the front and back panel of the phone. In its 2 minute 45 second video, the company has given an overall tour of the phone.

Honor has shared the video of this robot phone from its official X handle. The company has written in its post, ‘What is the future of intelligent devices? “While the industry is busy comparing iPhones, we looked at what really differentiates them to create real value for you.” In its post, Honor has further written that this robotic AI device is equipped with multi-modal intelligence, advanced robotics and next generation imaging.
After iPhone to AI Phone, now it is the turn of Robot Phone. This is a big milestone for the Honor Alpha Plan. The company had announced this plan at the beginning of the year, in which it aims to become the leader of its global AI device ecosystem.
Based on these technologies
This Robot Phone of Honor is based on three core technologies – AI Brain, Robotic Mobility and Professional Imaging. It has a hidden robotic arm gimbal, which unfolds after clicking the photo. Stable images and video recording can be done with this robotic camera. Apart from this it is also capable of auto frame shots as well as object tracking.
Looking at the front and back panel of the phone does not reveal that a robotic gimbal is hidden in it, which comes out for clicking photos or recording videos. Its back panel looks completely like a regular smartphone.
The Chinese company said that it is based on Honor’s large-scale AI model YOYO. The robotic camera given in this phone can understand emotions, which helps the user in managing content and connected devices. Honor has named this project Alpha. The company has invested heavily in this project. This project focuses on research in robotics, motion systems and bionic design.
