Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL), the state-owned telecom operator, on Wednesday, October 15, announced a special “Diwali Bonanza” offer, providing new customers access to its 4G mobile services at a token price of just ₹1 for one month.
The festive offer will be available from October 15 to November 15, 2025, the company said in a statement.

Under the Diwali Bonanza plan, customers will receive unlimited voice calls, 2GB of high-speed data per day, and 100 SMS per day, along with a free SIM card, subject to KYC verification as per Department of Telecommunications (DoT) guidelines.
“BSNL has recently deployed a Make-in-India, state-of-the-art 4G mobile network across the country, advancing the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. The Diwali Bonanza Plan—absolutely free of service charges for the first 30 days—gives customers a proud opportunity to experience our indigenously developed 4G network,” said A. Robert J. Ravi, CMD, BSNL.
To avail of the offer, users can visit their nearest BSNL Customer Service Centre (CSC) with valid KYC documents. Activation begins at ₹1, with complimentary services valid for 30 days from activation.
