Chhagan Bhujbal and his family’s problems are likely to increase. The Mumbai Special Court has ordered the re-initiating of the Beyondi property case in 20-15. In 20-21, the Income Tax Department had initiated action against Chhagan Bhujbal, his family and his companies in the case of anonymous wealth.

In this case, the special court had summoned Chhagan Bhujbal, Pankaj Bhujbal and Sameer Bhujbal in November 20-21. Bhujbal had challenged this action in the Mumbai High Court. The High Court had ordered the cancellation of the complaint in December 20-24, in which the alleged anonymous property was alleged.

The property was named after the three companies – Armstrong Infrastructure, Parvesh Construction and Devisha Construction. These include properties of Gir Sugar Mills in Mumbai and Nashik. The special court has now ordered to resume the case, and the next hearing on the matter will be held on October 6.

Special Judge Satyanarayan Navandhar said on Tuesday that the Bombay High Court had directed the cancellation of anonymous property case only on technical issues, not on merit (on quality). The order is likely to increase the problems of Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, yet no response has been received from him on the matter.
