The wait for Apple’s first foldable iPhone is about to end. This iPhone of the American company will be launched this year i.e. in 2026. Many leaked reports have come out about this foldable iPhone. Talking about foldable smartphones, at present Samsung remains the world leader in this sector. The company has been launching foldable smartphones for the last 7 years. This year Samsung is going to launch its eighth Galaxy Z Fold 8. Apart from this, Samsung has also launched triple foldable phone.
Folding iPhone will be introduced this year!
Apple’s first iPhone Fold can be introduced with the iPhone 18 series this year. Apart from this, the company is also working on AI glasses. Its prototype has been spotted recently. Not only this, Apple is also going to introduce foldable iPad in the market this year. Some features of the company’s first foldable iPhone have surfaced online recently.
iPhone Fold will have a 7.6-inch main foldable screen. The company is going to use OLED panel in it. Apart from this, the first foldable iPhone will have a 5.25 inch cover display. If reports are to be believed, the company will not provide Face ID in Apple’s foldable iPhone. In this too, a side mounted fingerprint sensor can be provided like the foldable phones of Samsung or other brands. The company will present it with very thin bezels and its design will also be quite sleek.

Last year, Samsung launched its thinnest foldable phone Galaxy Z Fold 7, whose thickness when unfolded is less than the iPhone Air. There is already competition for Apple. Along with titanium, stainless steel can also be used in Apple’s first foldable iPhone. Quad camera setup will be available in the back of this phone. The phone will have a 48MP main camera. With this, an under-display selfie camera can be provided. Its starting price can be around Rs 2 lakh.
