The Aadhaar card issuing agency has launched the new Aadhaar app on November 9 this month. This new Aadhaar app is available on Android and iOS platforms. Users can soon avail this facility of new Aadhar card in their smartphones. At present, to change the mobile number linked to Aadhaar card, users have to visit the Aadhaar card centre. With the addition of the facility in the new app, people will get this facility sitting at home.
How to use the new Aadhaar app?
- For this, first of all you have to download the new Aadhaar app in your phone.
- After this, you will have to select your preferred language and enter the 12 digit Aadhaar number.
- Then you will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number, which will contain OTP i.e. One Time Password.
- By entering this OTP you will be able to log in to the Aadhaar app.
- After this you will be redirected for face authentication.
- After verification, you will have to enter a 6 digit password.
- Then you will be able to go to the profile page of your new Aadhaar app.
- Here you will be able to avail all the features of the new Aadhaar app, which includes masking the Aadhaar card, biometric lock etc.
