Kadha Prasad Recipe
The Halwa found in the Gurudwara is replaced by Kadha Prasad. Its taste is such that if you taste it once, you will feel like eating it again and again. This is a very tasty pudding prepared from flour and mixed with desi ghee. Its taste is so good that even carrot, moong dal and semolina pudding seems pale in comparison to it. It is so soft to eat that it melts in the mouth. There is a feeling of faith, reverence and devotion in this Prasad which further enhances its taste. Kadha Prasad Recipe
First step- To make Kada Prasad, you have to take 1 cup of desi ghee. Heat desi ghee in a pan and now add 1 cup flour in it. Fry the flour while stirring continuously. When the ghee and flour are roasted, the flour will smell very nice. The flour will turn golden in color and start releasing ghee.
Second step- At this stage, slowly mix 2 cups of water in the flour. Keep in mind that you have to keep stirring the flour continuously because as soon as you stop stirring, it will melt. There may be lumps in the flour. Now add 1 cup of sugar as per your taste. Some people mix sugar and water separately, boil them and then mix it in flour.
Third step-Now you have to cook it while stirring continuously until the halwa leaves ghee. After stirring for a while, ghee will start coming out of the halwa. Now mix finely ground green cardamom in it. Kada Prasad tastes very tasty when eaten without any dry fruits. If you want, you can also mix finely chopped dry fruits in it.
Make Kada Prasad i.e. flour pudding and eat it once. Flour pudding tastes very tasty in winter. This halwa must be prepared and fed to children. Even elderly people without teeth can eat it comfortably.
