Bajra Tikki

If you like eating street food, then you would also like Aloo Tikki. But today we will tell you about a very easy recipe of Bajra Tikki. To make Bajra Tikki, you will need half cup of jaggery, half cup of water, 2 cups of bajra flour, half cup of sesame seeds and some oil. Your crispy millet tikkis will be ready in just half an hour. To make Bajra Tikki, follow these steps.

First step- Put water and jaggery in a pan and heat it well so that the jaggery melts.

Second step- After this, mix millet flour and sesame seeds in a vessel. Now you have to knead the dough by adding melted jaggery.

Third step- The flour should be soft, for this you can use a little more water to knead the dough.

Fourth step- After kneading the dough for 5 minutes, break it into small balls. Give these balls the shape of tikkis with your palms.

Fifth step- Sprinkle some sesame seeds on the tikkis. Heat oil in a pan and drop the tikkis one by one.

Sixth step- You have to cook both the sides of the tikki by turning it till it turns golden. Let us tell you that crispy and tasty millet tikkis can be made within just 30 minutes i.e. half an hour.

Now you can enjoy hot millet tikkis. Bajra tikki can be served with chutney or pickle. The best thing is that Bajra Tikki can be stored in any air tight container. Next time, try the recipe of millet tikki instead of potato tikki.
