According to the report of Android Authority, Google has removed it from AI Overview after receiving complaints of wrong medical advice. However, only some search phrases have been removed. However, health related information will continue to be available in Google’s AI search. Let us tell you that Google has integrated AI Overview with its search engine only last year. Dangerous results were being obtained
Whenever you enter specific keywords or queries in Google AI Overview, you will get links to some websites with short and crisp information related to them. American news publication The Guardian has described some medical-related results in Google’s AI overview as extremely sensitive and dangerous. For example, in AI Overview, information related to Liver Function Test (LFT) results was incorrect because it depends on many things.
Many experts termed the results of Google AI Overview as dangerous and said that such results will make people with serious liver disease think that they are healthy and will not take necessary medical advice. Google has removed specific terms flagged by experts from its AI overview. A company spokesperson says that Google is always trying to improve its policy. However, many medical related advices are still visible in Google’s AI overview. People are advised not to get any medical related information from Google search. For this they should consult a doctor only.
