Radish Parathas
To make radish paratha, you will need 5 radishes, one finely chopped onion, one inch finely chopped ginger piece, 5 finely chopped garlic cloves, 2 finely chopped green chillies, one teaspoon turmeric powder, one teaspoon black pepper powder, one teaspoon cumin powder, one teaspoon celery, 3 tablespoons finely chopped coriander, 2 cups flour, salt and oil. First step- Peel the radish and then wash and clean it thoroughly. Now you have to grate the radish.
Second step- After this, mix grated radish and a teaspoon of salt in a vessel. You have to keep the radish-salt mixture covered for 10 minutes.
Third step- After 10 minutes, press the grated radish in your hands so that all the water present in the radish comes out.
Fourth step- Now add oil in a pan and heat it. Now first add finely chopped ginger and garlic in the pan and fry both these things for a few seconds.
Fifth step- After this, add finely chopped onion to the pan and fry the entire mixture well. Now add finely chopped green chillies, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder and celery to this mixture.
Sixth step- After all the spices are roasted, you have to put radish in the pan and fry it for about 5 minutes. After this, add salt and finely chopped coriander, cover the pan for about 2 minutes and let the mixture roast.
Seventh step- Now mix salt, oil and celery in the flour and knead the dough while adding water. After this, cover the dough and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
Eighth step- After 10 minutes, knead the dough once more. Make slightly larger sized balls from the dough.
Ninth step- After this, fill the radish mixture in the ball and close it well and then roll the ball.
Tenth step- Now heat the pan and spread oil on it. After this, roast the radish paratha from both the sides till it becomes crispy or light brown and then enjoy the hot radish paratha.
