Poco M8 5G Launch: Poco M8 5G is going to be launched in India later this week on January 8. A dedicated microsite for the upcoming handset was recently made live, giving a glimpse of its specifications and features. Now, the same has been updated and more details about the Poco M8 5G have been revealed, including its color options, battery capacity, charging speed, and some camera features. It will be available in three colors in India through an e-commerce platform and the company’s website. It will have a 6.77 inch display, which will provide a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Apart from this, Poco M8 5G handset will operate with Snapdragon 6 series chip.

Xiaomi’s sub-brand has recently confirmed that Poco M8 5G will launch in India on January 8 at 12 noon (local time). Soon after the launch, the handset will be available for sale in the country via Flipkart and Xiaomi India’s online store.

The Xiaomi sub-brand has updated the dedicated microsite on Flipkart for the upcoming Poco M8 5G smartphone, revealing additional details about the handset. It will be available in Carbon Black, Glacial Blue and Frost Silver colors. It will have a dual speaker setup with Dolby Atmos and 300 percent volume boost support, which will provide a better listening experience outdoors.
Poco M8 5G battery and charging details
Poco’s M8 5G is confirmed to have a 5520mAh silicon carbon battery, which supports 45W wired fast charging and 18W reverse charging. The company claims that on normal usage, this handset will be able to provide up to 1.6 days of battery backup, more than 25 hours of scrolling on Instagram, more than 19 hours of video playback on YouTube, more than 9 hours of gaming on Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and more than 10 hours of navigation on Google Maps.

Poco M8 5G will have a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup. The company has also revealed that the smartphone will have a 20-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. It will be able to record videos up to 4K resolution and will support 2x in-sensor zoom and live photos.

Poco M8 5G will have a 6.77-inch 3D curved display, which will provide peak brightness of up to 3200 nits, refresh rate of up to 120Hz, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and 1080×2392 pixel resolution.
