Gameskraft Layoff News: The real-mani gaming company Gameskraft is having a leave of about 120 employees. However, this may affect even more employees. This will affect many teams and functions. This is a part of the company’s business structure but it is happening at a time when the company is stuck in a fraud scam associated with its former CFO Ramesh Prabhu. Ramesh Prabhu is accused of grabbing ₹ 270.43 crore in about five years. According to the 16 September report by Moneycontrol, a case has been registered against Ramesh Prabhu at Marathahalli police station in Bengaluru after a complaint of gamecraft.

Prithvi Singh, founder of Gamescraft, says the decision to lay down is quite difficult. He said that every employee of the company has contributed to taking it forward and has brought the company here. He said that now he had to decide to trim in the changed situation. Right now the company is trimming 120 employees but this number may move forward as the process is still going on. Employees who will be trimmed, will get compensation according to the employment agreement, including leave encashment on the basis of total salary. The company says that even after the sorting, the employee will be active by March 2026 or by joining the new company. According to the company, employees will have the option to convert their corporate policy into individual policy.
How is business health?
The game was made in the year 2017 by Prithvi Singh. Talking about the business health of the company, its net profit fell 25% to ₹ 706 crore in FY 2025. It includes an expansion item of ₹ 270.5 crore. However, the company says that the main reason for the decline in profit is GST at the rate of 28%. In FY 2025, the company spent ₹ 2,526 crore on tax. During this period, the company’s revenue rose 13.9% to ₹ 4,009 crore in FY 2025.

After the ban on real money games, Gamescraft shut down its online Rami apps including Rummyculture. Apart from this, Gamescraft stopped the work of its online poker platform Pocket 52 in May 2025.
