Oppo is going to launch a mid-budget smartphone with 200MP camera in India soon. The company has confirmed the launch date of its upcoming mid-budget smartphone series. This smartphone series of Oppo will be introduced in the Indian market next week. This will be an upgrade to the Oppo Reno 14 series launched in the second half of last year. The company is going to introduce three phones in this series, Oppo Reno 15, Oppo Reno 15 Pro and Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini.
Launching confirmed in India
The company has confirmed that this mid-budget smartphone series of Oppo will be launched in India on January 8. This will be the company’s first smartphone series to be launched this year. Oppo has also revealed many features of the phone. This smartphone series of Oppo will be equipped with Pro-Tone technology and AI features. Both the Pro models of this series will have a 200MP ultra-clear main camera. Whereas, 50MP main OIS camera will be available in the standard model. The back panel of this phone is inspired by the iPhone Pro series.
200MP strong camera
Apart from 200MP, a 50MP telephoto camera will also be provided in the Pro model of this series. Apart from this, the phone will also have a 50MP telephoto portrait camera, which will support 3.5x optical zoom. Equipped with AI features, this series will get AI Editor 3.0, in which features like AI Portrait Glow, AI Motion Photo Slo-Mo will be provided. The company claims that the camera of this series will be capable of capturing 4K HDR video at 60fps.
Talking about the previously leaked features of Oppo Reno 15 series, its Pro Mini model will have a 6.3-inch flat OLED screen, which will support 120Hz refresh rate. At the same time, a 6.9 inch OLED display can be found in the standard and pro models of this series. MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor can be provided in both the Pro models, with which 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage can be supported.

At the same time, Oppo Reno 15 can be offered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. This phone can get support of 80W fast charging with a powerful battery of 6500mAh. The mini model can support 80W wired fast charging with a 6200mAh battery. This smartphone series of Oppo will be equipped with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. Aerospace grade aluminum frame will be used in the phone, which will make the phone more durable than the previous series.
