Make white sesame laddus in winter

It is advisable to consume things that keep the body warm during the winter season. In this season, things made from white and black sesame are consumed a lot, because its nature is hot. Consuming sesame seeds provides many benefits to health. In such a situation, laddus made from white sesame seeds provide not only taste but also health benefits. Here we have brought a simple recipe of white sesame laddu which is not only delicious but also a treasure of health. So without any delay, immediately note down the easy recipe of White Sesame Laddu.

White sesame seeds – 250 grams

Jaggery – 200 – 250 grams

Peanuts – 2-3 tbsp

Cardamom powder – ½ tsp

Desi Ghee – 1 tbsp

method of making

step 1 – Add white sesame seeds in a heavy bottom pan. Fry it on low flame while stirring continuously until the sesame seeds swell slightly and crackling sound starts to be heard. Take out the roasted sesame seeds in a plate.

Step 2 – If you are adding peanuts, then roast them, peel them and grind them coarsely. Mix it in roasted sesame seeds.

Step 3 – Heat 1 teaspoon ghee in a pan and add chopped jaggery to it. Add 1-2 spoons of water so that the jaggery melts easily. Let the jaggery melt on low flame.

Step 4 – When the jaggery starts foaming, try adding a drop of jaggery in a bowl of water. If the jaggery does not spread in water and forms a soft ball, then the syrup is ready.

Step 5 – Now turn off the gas. Add the mixture of cardamom powder, roasted sesame seeds and peanuts to the syrup. Mix well.

Step 6 – Let the mixture cool slightly. Apply some water or ghee on your hands and take the mixture little by little and make round laddus. After these laddus cool completely, store them in an airtight container. These do not spoil for a month.
