Difference between cold pressed and hot pressed oil
If you want to remain healthy, you should consume oil thoughtfully. Yes, the oil you eat directly affects your health. Therefore, it is beneficial to use only healthy oil in small quantities. You will get two types of oils in the market, one cold pressed and one hot pressed. Till now, most of the people either bought normal oil from the market and used it or got the oil extracted from the mill and used it. But these days, people who are health conscious have started using cold pressed oil. Which is much more expensive than normal oil. You should know what is the difference between cold pressed oil and hot pressed oil and which oil is better?
Actually, cold pressed and hot pressed are two techniques for extracting oil. In one method, oil is extracted by crushing the seeds with heating power, in the other method without heat, oil is extracted by pressing the seeds repeatedly and with light pressure.
cold pressed oil
This oil is more expensive than normal oil. In the cold pressed process, peanuts, olives, soybeans, sunflowers, almonds, sesame and other seeds are processed and ground using natural methods. In this process, the seeds are ground on very low heat until oil starts coming out from them. Its specialty is that all the nutritious elements of the oil remain intact. Cold pressed oil contains more Vitamin C, E, K, besides healthy fats and antioxidants than normal oil. Cold pressed oil is therefore considered more healthy.
hot pressed oil
Whereas hot pressed oil is extracted by heating it at high heat. In this, oil is extracted by pressing the seeds through a hydraulic press. This oil is then filtered and delivered to you. In hot pressed oil, oil is released quickly and in large quantities, but the nutrients present in the oil get destroyed due to heat. Therefore this oil is not as healthy as cold pressed oil.
Which oil is better for health, cold pressed or hot pressed?
If we talk about health, cold pressed oil is better. This oil contains a lot of vitamins and healthy fats. Whereas nutrients are destroyed in hot pressed oil. Such oil is less beneficial for the body. If hot press oil is further refined, it becomes even worse. Therefore, if you eat, eat only cold pressed oil, so that the body can get the benefits of the oil and use the oil in limited quantity only.
