Nitin and Nikhil Kamat co-founders of online broking firm Jirodha are quite settled over business decisions. The two brothers made such a synergy about their business partnership that today both their business and the bonding between them remain intact. Nikhil Kamat spoke openly about the experiences of working with his brother Nitin during a podcast some time ago.

He explained how the two brothers are distributing work, how are the business of billions of dollars without external investors. Nikhil Kamat said that both do completely different things. Nikhil focuses on the stock market and investment, while Nitin handles products, brokerage and People’s operations. According to Nikhil, “We do not come in each other’s way. This is effective for us.”

‘As a brother, we were very formal’

This synergy did not come between the two brothers. From the very beginning, the two brothers adopted their partnership with formality. Recalling the beginning of Kamat Associates, Nikhil about 16 years ago, said, “Everything we were on paper. We were very formal as a brother.”

Despite all this, conflicts arise. Nikhil Kamat admitted that the ego dominates many times. Many times misunderstandings also occur. To deal with this, they rely on a clear operational partition. According to Nikhil, “If there is a case related to stock market, investment or trading, then I take the final decision. If there is a matter of product, people or brokerage, then the decision is of Nitin.”

Zirodha is an old -fashioned shop in the modern company

Regarding how to run the company, Nikhil says that there were many ups and downs in his brother’s life, but one thing that both brothers did not do is external investor. According to Nikhil, “We did not have investors, we had no debt, we ran it like an old -fashioned shop in the screen of a modern company.
