Apple gave warning on Google Chrome
Apple Warning: Apple has issued a new warning for iPhone and Mac users and under this it has asked them to stop using Google Chrome app and Google Chrome browser. By giving such a warning, Apple has apparently confused millions of iPhone and Mac users because Google Chrome is the most used browser in the world. The company has given this warning keeping in mind the privacy of the users and has claimed that Google’s tools expose people to such tracking methods which cannot be turned off. Apple, on the other hand, is calling Safari a safe option for those who want to hide their digital identity.
Learn about Apple’s warning
Apple has expressed concern about Google’s most popular products and cautioned iPhone and Mac users against relying on Chrome and even Google apps. Now Google’s secret fingerprint has also been included in Apple’s warning. In this new warning, Apple has said that use Safari browser to reduce online data tracking and privacy risks. According to Apple, fingerprinting takes a lot of data from your phone and combines it into a trackable identity, but the Safari browser does not do anything that allows websites and ads to identify your device and create your digital fingerprint.
Mozilla has also updated Firefox
However, Apple is not the only tech firm to adopt such safety standards. Apart from Apple, Mozilla has also updated Firefox in a similar manner. You can check whether your device can be fingerprinted or not. Users switching to Firefox have less to worry about on the security standards front.
Safari provides a simple view of system settings
There is confusion on Google Chrome about preventing tracking through AI, truly private browsing and protecting against location data theft because Google removed the rule preventing data fingerprinting. After this it can collect your data. Google also keeps a record of your every online activity through digital footprint. However, this does not happen in Safari because it shows a simple form of system settings, after which trackers see all the devices equally and no particular device is seen separately and in this way your privacy remains safe.
