‘Dream Vision’ exhibition of Russian painter Nikas Safronov
An excellent art exhibition of famous Russian painter Nikas Safronov and many visual artists from around the world has started in India’s capital Delhi. The exhibition titled ‘Dream Vision’ started on December 7 at the Lalit Kala Akademi National Academy of Art in New Delhi and is scheduled to run till December 21, 2025. In this exhibition, 100 of his paintings are being shown in 8 halls on two floors, which are spread over approximately 1,300 square meters.

During a conversation with India TV, when Russian painter Nikas Safronov was asked what change he wants to bring in India through ‘Dream Vision’, he said, “Dream Vision is a dream that I have always had.” He has also said that he has visited India thrice and he likes this country very much because of the old temples, architecture and Asian culture. Safronov also explained that AI does not take part in his art, he just takes some advice but never uses it in his art.
Indian and Russian art traditions:
When further asked whether Indian and Russian art traditions have anything in common, Safronov said, “India and Russia are like a coin on both sides. We are made of the same metal. Our soul, in India, resides. The culture here is very rich and it connects us. India is a country very close to us. Perhaps, despite the distance, it is the closest. When asked about his views on Putin and Modi’s relationship and the recent meeting, Safronov said, “Modi is a very philosophical person, very intelligent.
