Samsung Galaxy S26 Series: Samsung’s 2026 flagship Galaxy S26 series is tipped to include the upcoming Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra. Samsung Galaxy S26 series leaks reveal fold-based design and new software features. The upcoming flagship promises better hardware and AI-powered One UI 8.5 based on Android 16. These are indicating its strong launch in the year 2026 and their codenames are M1, M2 and M3 respectively.
These new leaks have given us a detailed glimpse of Samsung’s preparations for 2026 and this leak that surfaced in an early build hints at changes in the design. Apart from this, it also gives new software information which will debut with the next generation flagship phones. According to Android Authority, leaked renders from the One UI 8.5 test firmware give us our first glimpse of Samsung’s 2026 premium line-up.
Fold-style camera layout will be the specialty of the Galaxy S26 series
Its camera layout remains the main topic of discussion. Like the Fold 7, the lenses are individually arranged in polished circular rings, giving it a sleeker and more uniform finish while maintaining Samsung’s signature minimalist camera look. According to a recent leak by Android Authority, some rough renders from an internal test build appear to match the camera module expected from Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7. The separate circular camera rings have been retained in the new layout.
All three devices, internally codenamed M1 (Galaxy S26), M2 (S26+) and M3 (S26 Ultra), use the same design language. According to insiders, the ‘M’ stands for Miracle, which is Samsung’s internal name for the S26 project. The renders suggest that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have soft, rounded corners, which may have been designed in response to users’ reaction to the boxier silhouette of the current Ultra model.
One UI 8.5 interface update will be seen in Samsung Galaxy series
The leaks not only provide information about the hardware but also confirm that Samsung’s next big interface update, One UI 8.5, based on Android 16, will debut in the Galaxy S26 series. Early builds of the firmware have already been spotted, and the Galaxy S25 series is expected to get One UI 8.5 beta by the first week of December i.e. December 8th.
