Kadhi Recipe
In India, curry rice is eaten with great relish. To make kadhi, you will need 2 cups sour curd, half cup gram flour, one teaspoon turmeric, one teaspoon red chili powder, salt and 4 cups water. To apply tadka, you will need 2 spoons of oil, one teaspoon cumin, half teaspoon fenugreek seeds, a pinch of asafoetida, 8 curry leaves, 2 green chillies cut lengthwise and one inch piece of grated ginger. To make pakodas, you will need one cup of gram flour, one finely chopped onion, one finely chopped green chilli, salt and oil.
How to make Kadhi- First of all, beat the curd well. Now mix gram flour, turmeric, red chilli and salt in curd. By slowly adding water to this mixture, prepare a thin solution without lumps. Heat oil in a pan and temper it with cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves, green chillies and ginger. After all the spices crackle, add curd-gram flour solution to this mixture and cook while stirring for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Recipe of gram flour pakoda- Prepare a thick batter by mixing gram flour, onion, green chilli and salt in a bowl. Now heat the oil and fry small pakodas with this batter. If you want to make soft pakodas, then before adding them to the curry, you have to soak them in hot water. After some time, squeeze the pakodas and add them to the curry.
Enjoy Kadhi-Rice- Now you have to mix soft gram flour dumplings in the curry. After this, cook the curry on low flame for about 5 to 10 minutes. To enhance the taste of the soft gram flour kadhi kadhi, do not forget to add finely chopped green coriander at the end. Apart from this, you can also add desi ghee to the kadhi. Now you can serve hot kadhi with rice.
