Apple Care+ Service: iPhone maker Apple has launched the feature of protection against theft or loss of the phone as part of the extension of its AppleCare Plus cover in India. The company gave this information on Wednesday. Earlier, the protection plan under AppleCare Plus offered ‘Unlimited’ coverage for accidental damage while theft or damage protection is already available in some key markets. Through this Apple Care Service, customers will be relieved to a great extent from the tension of losing or stealing their iPhone because they will get a security cover for it.
Payment plan for Applecare Plus membership becomes stronger
The company has also strengthened the payment plan for AppleCare Plus subscription. Monthly plans starting at Rs 799 have been introduced in addition to the annual payment option available earlier. AppleCare Plus with theft or damage cover for iPhone starts at Rs 799, the statement said. The cost of the plan will vary depending on the price and category of the phone. The price of the company’s latest iPhone-17 series is between Rs 82,900 to Rs 2,29,900. Apple customers will also get 60 days to subscribe to a plan that was previously only offered to customers when they purchased the device.
Company expands Apple Care Plus options
“Apple today expanded Apple Care Plus options for customers in India by adding theft or damage protection for iPhone. With new affordable monthly and annual plans, customers have more options to protect their Apple products and can enjoy it for as long as they want,” the company said in a statement.
