Just hearing the name of Chole Bhature makes the mouth water. Be it children or adults, everyone likes the taste of Chole Bhature. You will find Bhature from street corners to big restaurants. But everywhere Bhature is made from flour and served. Therefore, people who are more concerned about their health avoid eating Bhature. But even fitness freaks can easily eat the recipe of Chole Bhature that I am telling you. Yes, we are telling you how to make Bhature with flour instead of flour. Recipe for flour bhature?
First method- To make flour bhature, take 2 cups of wheat flour. Add 1 teaspoon semolina, 1 teaspoon sugar, salt and half teaspoon baking soda to it. Mix all the things and now knead the flour with curd. If you want white color of Bhatura then you can add only half cup of flour in it. Knead a very soft dough and then wrap it with polythene and keep it in a warm place for about 1 hour. If you want, you can make Bhature with this dough even after half an hour.
Second way- To make flour bhature, sift the flour in a fine sieve. If you want, sift the flour in a muslin cloth. Now knead this dough like Bhatura dough. To knead the dough for Bhatura, add 1 pinch baking powder, 1 pinch salt, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 teaspoon semolina to the flour. Now knead the flour with curd. If necessary, use some water. Or dilute the curd by adding water. After kneading the dough, leave it to set for half an hour.
Bhatura can also be made by rolling it on a chakla.
Now apply oil for frying Bhatura on your hands and set the Bhatura dough by rubbing it a little. Place a pan on the gas and heat oil to fry the bhaturas. Break a slightly larger ball from the dough and apply lightly dry flour and flatten it with a rolling pin. You can roll it a little longer or round in the shape of Bhatura. After rolling, do it with hands 2-3 times like Bhatura. Now put it in hot oil and fry it on medium high flame. Bhatura has to be baked by pressing it lightly and pouring oil on it. All your bhaturas will be completely puffed up and very tasty to eat.
Prepare chickpea curry and then serve hot chickpea bhature with chopped onion and pickle. To enhance the taste of Bhatura, deep fry 5-6 green chillies in mustard oil. Put salt on it and eat it with Bhatura. You will enjoy eating.
