For this, you have to go to the official website of the communication partner sancharsaathi.gov.in. Here you have to choose the ‘Know Your Mobile (Kym)’ option by going to ‘Citizen Centric Services’ section. After this, OTP has to be verified by entering the mobile number and captcha.
The next step is to enter the 15 -digit IMEI number of your phone. After submitting it, you immediately get complete information about that device. In this detail, all the information related to the status, brand, model, device type and manufacture of the phone is available.
That is, if your smartphone is fake then its reality will be revealed immediately. In this way you can easily make sure whether the phone purchased from Amazon or Flipkart is really real or part of fraud.
