The tension of Chinese brands Xiaomi, Realme, Vivo, Oppo is going to increase. Another new player is about to enter the Indian smartphone market. Electronics appliances manufacturing company Philips is about to enter the rapidly growing Indian smartphone market. The company is preparing to launch budget smartphones, tablets, smartwatches and laptops in India soon. Recently Philips has teased these upcoming products. These products of Philips will be introduced in collaboration with Zenotel.
Partnership with Zenotel
Zenotel will work to sell these Philips products in the Indian market. Zenotel is the only company to sell electronics items including smartphones, tablets, laptops, smartwatches in the Indian market. However, Philips has been selling consumer electronics products such as TVs, radios etc. in India for many decades.
Details of tablets revealed
Philips’ upcoming tablet has been teased recently, which will be introduced under the name of Philips Pad Air. The company has teased many of its specifications. Apart from this, preparations are also going on for a budget phone, which can be introduced soon. Unisoc T606 processor will be available in the company’s upcoming tablet. It can support 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. This tablet will come with a display with 90Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution.
Philips Pad Air can get a powerful battery of 7000mAh, with which 18W charging support can be available. The company may launch other products along with smartphones and tablets early next year. At present, no information has been shared by the company about any feature of smartphone, laptop and smartwatch. Their names and features may be revealed in the coming days.
In India, brands like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo launch smartphones as well as consumer electronics products like tablets, smartwatches. Due to good features at affordable prices, Chinese brands of smartphones, tablets etc. are liked a lot by the users.
