Easy home remedies to clean immersion rod

As soon as winter comes, people start using heating. To avoid cold, most people take bath with hot water. To heat water, some people use geysers in the bathroom, while some people use immersion rods. Generally immersion rods are used more in homes. Not only is it cheaper but it also consumes less electricity. However, with prolonged use, a white, flaky layer of minerals present in the water, such as calcium and magnesium, forms on the rod. Due to which the rod looks dirty. In such a situation, people find all kinds of solutions to clean it. But do you know that with the help of some home remedies, you can make the immersion rod shine like new. Know here easy home remedies to clean immersion rod.

How to Clean Water Immersion Rod

white vinegar

You can use white vinegar to clean water deposits on the immersion rod. For this, mix white vinegar and water in equal quantity (1:1) in a vessel. Dip the crusted part of the immersion rod in this solution for 30 minutes to 1 hour. If the crust is very thick, you can even leave it overnight. After the time is up, take the rod out and gently scrub it with a soft scrubber, sponge, or old toothbrush. Wash the rod thoroughly with clean water and let it dry.

lemon juice and salt

The acid present in lemon juice also helps in removing the scabs. For this, extract the juice of 2-3 lemons and add a little salt to it and make a thick paste. Apply this paste on the crust formed on the immersion rod. Leave it for about 20-30 minutes. Then clean it by rubbing it gently with the help of a sponge or soft scrubber.

Vinegar and Baking Soda

For this, take water in a bucket or tub. Add one cup of vinegar and 2-3 teaspoons of baking soda in it. Dip the crusted part of the rod in this solution and leave it for some time (about 30 minutes). After this, clean the crust with a brush or scrubber and wash it with water.
