Maruti Victoris: Maruti Suzuki India, the country’s largest car maker, will reveal the price of its new mid-size SUV Victoris on 15 September. It was unveiled on 3 September and its booking started on the same day on a token amount of Rs 11,000. In a conversation with reporters on the occasion of the 65th SIAM annual conference, Senior Executive Partho Banerjee of Maruti’s Marketing and Sales Department said that the price of Victoris will be announced on 15 September.

Victoris coming with two new features
Victoris has two new features. The first is that it is the first Maruti car equipped with Dolby Atmos Audio and Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Secondly, it also has an underbody CNG tank, which came to India about 15 years after Maruti launched the CNG technology in 2010.

Safety devices include six airbags, electronic stability control, anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution, hill hold assist and seatbelt reminder for all seats. Grand Vitara based on Poetrain option
Victoris is also based on the Grand Vitara Povertrain option. It is powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine that produces 103ps and 139Nm, and comes with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic torque converter. The CNG variants produce 88Ps and 121Nm and are available with 5-speed manual. A 1.5-liter Strong Hybrid option is also available that produces 116PS and 141nm in total, and is associated with an E-CVT gearbox. This SUV also has the Allgrip selected all-wheel-drive system.
Preparation for export to more than 100 countries
Maruti has reported that apart from the domestic market, Victoris will also be exported to more than 100 countries around the world.
