Chana Dal Chilla Recipe
Breakfast should be such that it provides energy to the body throughout the day. Dal cheela is a good option for this. Most of the people prepare cheela of gram flour and moong dal and eat it at home. If you want to make something different then try chana dal cheela once. Chana Dal Chilla Recipe
Material- To make cheela, you have to take 2 cups of gram dal. Apart from this, add finely chopped coriander, 1 onion finely chopped, 1 tomato finely chopped, grate carrot and mix it, finely chop green chillies, beat half a cup of curd, salt as per taste and take oil to make cheela.
First step- Now to make chali, soak chana dal in water for 3-4 hours and then drain the water and grind it finely in a mixer. You can also add green chillies while grinding pulses and grind them. This will increase the taste and flavor of cheela. Take out the lentil paste in a bowl and add finely chopped vegetables like onion, tomato and carrot to it.
Second step- Now mix half cup curd in the batter. If the batter seems thick as per cheela then add some water. The batter for cheela should not be too thin or too thick. Now add salt and mix everything well. Leave the batter like this for 5-10 minutes and till then prepare green coriander and tomato chutney to eat the cheela.
Third step- Now take a tawa or pan and heat it. Now apply light oil and grease it and spread the prepared cheela batter. You have to make the cheela the size of a roti. Roast the cheela on medium flame and then turn it. Bake the cheela from the other side also and when the cheela is cooked well from both the sides, take it out in a plate.
