It is very easy to make it. If you want to lose weight then this recipe is a great option for you. Let us know how to make spicy moong dal chaat recipe?

Ingredients for Moong Dal Chaat:

Half cup yellow lentils and half cup green moong dal, 1 chopped green chilli, 1 tablespoon chopped ginger, half teaspoon asafoetida, salt to taste, 2-3 cups water, 4 tablespoons butter, 1 tablespoon cumin powder, 2 dry red chillies, chopped and remove seeds, 1 teaspoon red chilli powder, juice of one lemon, 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander.

How to make Moong Dal Chaat Recipe?

  • First step: To make Moong Chaat, first of all, soak half a cup of yellow dal and half a cup of green moong dal. After three to four hours, mix both the pulses in water and put them in a pressure cooker. Along with this, add one chopped green chilli, a few pieces of ginger and a couple of garlic cloves and cook well for three whistles. Keep in mind that the dal should be very thick.

  • Second step: When the lentils are cooked, take them out. Now grind half a teaspoon of asafoetida, a piece of butter and half a teaspoon of roasted cumin and add it. Now stir the dal well once again

  • Third step: Now in the next step, add two spoons of oil in a ladle and add one red chilli and oregano, temper it and then mix it in the dal.

  • Fourth step: Now in the next step, finely chop an onion and tomato, and mix it in the dal. And crush the papdi and pour it on top. Now add lemon juice to it also. Your spicy moong chaat is ready. Serve it hot.
