In this festival of Chhath, Prasad has great importance along with worship. In which Thekua is considered the main prasad. It is a traditional sweet made with flour and sugar. This festival is considered incomplete without this sweet. In such a situation, let us know how to make tasty Thekua at home?
Ingredients to make Thekua:
One and a half cup wheat flour, 2 teaspoons rava (semolina), 3 teaspoons dry grated coconut, 1 teaspoon fennel, half teaspoon cardamom powder, half teaspoon sugar, 3 teaspoons ghee, ghee for frying or refined.
Method to make Thekua:

First step: First of all, mix flour and rava well. Now add 1 teaspoon fennel, cardamom powder, grated coconut and 3 teaspoons ghee and mix well.

Second step: Now add half cup water and half cup sugar in a pan and mix well and make syrup.

Third step: Now add it to the flour-coconut mixture and knead it well. Leave it for a while so that it swells well.

Fourth step: Now make small balls of this dough and then shape them into molds or as per your choice.

Fifth step: Now heat ghee or refined in a pan. When they become hot, reduce the flame of the gas and add thekua and fry till it becomes light brown.

Sixth step: Your delicious thekua is ready to be offered during Chhath fast. You can keep it in an airtight container and use it for several days.
