First step- Take 1 cup semolina, you can take either thick or fine semolina. Now put the semolina in the big jar of the mixer. Add half cup curd and half cup water in it. Add 1 teaspoon cooking oil and grind all the ingredients to make a paste.

Second step- Now take out the semolina paste in a vessel and swirl some water in the jar and mix it in this paste. A very smooth batter will be ready. Add half teaspoon cumin, salt as per taste and half teaspoon sugar in it. Add one spoon ginger and green chilli paste.

Third step- Mix everything well and beat the batter in one direction for 2 minutes. Keep the batter covered for 10 minutes so that the semolina will swell properly. Meanwhile, if you want, you can make chutney.

Fourth step- Now grease the dhokla plate. If there is no plate then you can grease any steel box. Now add 1 teaspoon eno to the batter and add 1 teaspoon water on top. Mix it and immediately pour the batter into a plate or tiffin. In advance, keep water boiling in the pan or vessel in which the plate is to be kept.

Fifth step- Place the plate with Dhokla in water and sprinkle some chaat masala or pav bhaji masala over it. Cover with a plate and cook it on medium high flame for 15 minutes. After the time is over, check once by inserting a knife in the middle. If the knife comes out clean, then it will be cooked.

Sixth step- Now remove the plate from water and let it cool for 5 minutes. Now remove it lightly from the edge and then cut it into a pizza-like shape. Now apply light oil on a pan and take out the cut pieces and fry them lightly on both sides for 2 minutes. Sprinkle green coriander and serve this semolina snack with spicy chutney.
