However, researchers also said that it all depends on the frequency of the voice. The vibrations captured from the mouse can be up to 61 percent accurate. Hackers can capture the sound waves generated by these sensors of the mouse, which are never checked in security scans. Generally, microphone and camera peripherals are checked in the security scan of the device.

In such a situation, it becomes easy for hackers to capture sound through mouse. Researchers analyzed the data captured through mouse and found that it is up to 61 percent accurate, which can be put into words through AI. According to research, hackers have claimed that it is very easy to record the voice of the number through the mouse. Although, recording the words is a bit difficult but it becomes easy through AI system.
The study has claimed that such attacks can prove to be very dangerous. Your personal information can reach hackers. Hackers can extract information about your banking details etc. and a big fraud can be done to you.
How to avoid?
To avoid this, you will have to shut down your computer so that the mouse’s connectivity is lost.
In sleep mode or hibernate mode, the mouse peripherals will remain connected to the CPU and sound can be accessed through them.
