BSNL has recently launched its 4G service across India. The company has installed about 1 lakh mobile towers to launch its 4G service. Apart from this, the company is going to install 97,500 more new mobile towers. Also, BSNL has launched a special service for its users. Like Jio and Airtel, BSNL users will be able to make calls even without mobile network.

BSNL has currently rolled out its VoWiFI i.e. Voice over Wi-Fi service in South Indian cities. Soon, this service will be rolled out in other telecom circles also. This service will especially benefit those users who want to experience the calling feature in areas with no network. The company completed 25 years on 2 October. On this occasion, Department of Telecommunications (DoT) Secretary Neeraj Mittal has soft launched the BSNL VoWiFi service.
This service of BSNL has currently been rolled out in the circles of South and West zone. Besides, the company has also launched its 4G and eSIM service in Mumbai. Users will now be able to use eSIM in Mumbai. Earlier it was launched in Tamil Nadu circle. With the launch of this service, BSNL has taken another big step in digital expansion.
The company has given information about this service through its official X handle. With the help of BSNL VoWiFI service, users will be able to experience voice calling through home broadband or WiFi in indoor or low network areas. However, to use BSNL VoWiFi service, the user’s smartphone must also be compatible. You will get VoWiFi feature in most of the smartphones launched these days.
You will be able to use the service for free
With this VoWiFi service, BSNL will provide Wi-Fi calling facility to the users like private companies Airtel, Jio and Vodafone-Idea. Users of private companies have been using VoWiFi service for some years. Users will not have to spend any extra money for this service of BSNL. Users will be able to use this service in their compatible smartphones.
