BSNL is soon going to give another big gift to its users. The government telecom company is going to launch its 5G service soon. Central Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has confirmed that all 4G towers of BSNL will be upgraded to 5G in the next 6 to 8 months. After upgrading the 5G tower, BSNL users will also start getting superfast connectivity like Jio, Airtel and VI.

4G service launch

The BSNL 4G service has recently been launched by PM Modi. About 1 lakh new 4G mobile towers of BSNL were rolled out simultaneously, due to which users have started getting 4G services. The company is preparing to install 1 lakh new 4G towers. The BSNL 5G service will also be launched soft at the end of the year. According to reports, BSNL’s 5G service is likely to be launched soft in Delhi and Mumbai by December.

The Union Minister said in a recently organized Conclave that India’s 4G service is completely based on indigenous technology. BSNL’s 4G network has been prepared by C-DOT, Tejas Network and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). In this way India has joined the 5 countries of the world, which has created a telecom network based on indigenous technology.

Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said during the Conclave that it was not easy for BSNL to execute the 4G network. Many difficulties faced many difficulties to prepare a 4G stack based on indigenous technology. He further said that in just 22 months we have prepared our core software, radio access network (RAN) and Indian system integrator in TCS.

Preparation of 5G starts

92,564 mobile tower commissions based on indigenous technology of BSNL have been done across the country. India has become the fastest speed country to roll the 5G service. 5G service has reached 99.8% districts of the country. BSNL’s 5G service will write a new chapter for self -sufficient India. The government telecom company is preparing to upgrade all its 4G mobile tower to 5G. The company’s indigenous 4G network is completely 5G ready, due to which it will not take much time to launch 5G.
